Use this adapter to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket radio while maintaining the OnStar system on non-Bose systems on select GM vehicles.

Retains the function of OnStar® when the factory radio is replaced.

Generates all safety warning chimes.

Compatible with non Bose audio systems.

Maintains a "healthy" status on the Class II databus

New radio will operate with the vehicle RAP (Retained Accessory Power) system. The radio stays on after the key is turned off and stays on for approximately 10 minutes or until a door is opened.



Important Notes:

Does not retain the factory XM receiver, rear seat controls/headphones or rear seat DVD. You will lose these options when the factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket radio.

Not compatible with 2009 vehicles that are equipped with O.E.M. Bluetooth.

Factory system has to be non-amplified (no Bose).
