Use this kit to connect your iPhone to the factory radio for wireless Bluetooth talking, A2DP music streaming (except 1G iPhone), and HD radio.

This kit will do 3 functions with your iPhone:

1. HD radio

2. Music streaming (except 1G iPhone)

3. BlueTooth Handsfree talking

This kit will also do A2DP music streaming for the iPhone 3G/3GS.

Caller ID on radio screen.

Plug and Play.

Keeps the Factory Radio Intact – Plug-and-play interface eliminates the need to replace the factory radio, maintaining the vehicle’s original look and feel.

Delivers Digital-Quality Audio – Direct connection to the factory radio ensures static-free, crystal-clear sound from the iPod and many other portable media devices.

HD Radio Info:

Static free reception makes AM radio sound like FM, and FM radio sound like a CD

Artist and song titles appear on radio screen when broadcasted

Expanded content, including HD2 and HD3 multicast stations

No subscription fees or monthly charges

This BlueTooth function is only for the iPhones- will not work with other Bluetooth phones.

iPhone 3G requires 3.0 OS or higher
1st Generation iPhone does not support A2DP Streaming Audio
Does not support phonebook download
Currently the iPhone software does not support track forward/back through A2DP streaming

Note: the aux and iPod cables will not be used

Compatibility Notes:

Radio must be satellite radio compatible (satellite radio doesn't have to be active)- works with all navigation radios and radios that are usually identified by a "AUX, "Sirius" or "SAT" button

This combo is for iPhones only- preferably the 3G iPhone or newer- 1G iPhone will not have music streaming.

HD radio service might be limited in certain regions and might not be available outside the USA.

Radios with an internal satellite tuner DO NOT support an auxiliary input or satellite radio through the PXAMG. The factory auxiliary input & satellite radio will be retained but you CAN NOT add these features with the PXAMG.
In 2009 Ford changed the radios in the following vehicles halfway through the year from having an external satellite radio tuner to having an internal satellite radio tuner. These vehicles will not be able to support an Auxiliary input or Satellite radio through the PXAMG:
Ford Focus
Ford Escape
Mercury Mariner

The following vehicles also require the PGHFD1A harness (sold seperately for $10 if purchased with this combo):
