Important Notes:

This kit will does not include the iPod cable.

One of the following iPod cable or cradle will be required:

IP04DC9
IP34CR9
IP51CR9

Compatibility Notes:

Radio must be external cd changer compatible- must have cd changer port in back of radio.

Anything connected to that port will have to be disconnected- in-dash cd changer radio will still work like normal.

This kit will require a text capable radio which is usually a radio that is satellite radio compatible usually identified by a SAT button.

Text display function of the relevant Gateway 100 / 300 product is not available for BMW in case of:

-Becker manufactured head units

-the head unit has phone preparation (phone button)

-the head unit has factory phone module

Head Units with DSP are not supported

Gateway 300 support the following audio formats:
- MP3
- MPEG1 Layer 3 : 32; 44,1; 48 kHz (32 - 320kbps);
- MPEG2 Layer 3 : 16; 22,05; 24 kHz (8 - 160kbps);
- MPEG2.5 Layer 3 : 8; 11.025; 12 kHz (8 -160 kbps) from 96 kb/s to 320 kb/s;
- MP3 Variable Bit Rate (VBR) (up to 320kb/s).
- OGG (up to 320 kbit/s)
- WMA 4 - 44.1 kHz at sample rates up to 320 kb/s. Except for DRM protected files.
- WAV (16 bit, uncompressed PCM)

Not supported WMA.:
- WMA Pro
- WMA lossless
- WMA DRM
